Armin Müller completed his training as a surface coater at the Pforzheim-based gold and silver refinery Heimerle + Meule from 2005 to 2008. He then worked at Atotech in Berlin for a year. He then worked on a research project in electroplating at Umicore Galvanotechnik GmbH in Schwäbisch Gmünd until 2010, when he completed his full-time training to become a state-certified electroplating technician. He successfully completed the exam in 2012. With this title, Armin Müller joined the family business IMO Oberflächentechnik and has been working as an authorized signatory and senior project manager in the area of production technology ever since. With his many years of experience in the field of electroplating and global perspective, he is driving forward the technologies at the Königsbach site.
