Dr. Konstantinos Panos studied physics at the University of Stuttgart and earned his PhD in 2014 at the Max Planck Institute for Solid State Research in the field of quantum transport phenomena. With his move to TE Connectivity Germany GmbH in 2014, the focus of his activities shifted to the production and characterization of layer systems. His focus was on the development of innovative coating processes, industrial scaling for mass production, and inline measurement methods. Since 2020, he has been with Helmut Fischer GmbH, where he initially took over application consulting for the German market and later became responsible globally. Additionally, he serves as a contact person for metrological challenges regarding connectors.
